What Kongsi is

Kongsi helps people who know each other share the cost of a plan or subscription — one person pays, everyone settles their share. It is run by Persatuan Kemajuan STEM & Inovasi Kelantan (PaKSI). By creating an account or using Kongsi you agree to these terms.

Kongsi never holds your money

Payments go directly between people — by bank transfer, DuitNow or however you agree. Kongsi only keeps the record: who was charged what, and who says they've paid. We are not a party to the arrangement between an organizer and their payees, and we can't guarantee that anyone pays.

If you organize a bill

  • Only add people you know, who expect to share the cost with you.
  • Charge fairly and correct mistakes — payees can question a charge, and you're expected to answer.
  • Share plans the way their provider allows (for example a Team or Family plan you manage). Don't use Kongsi to resell accounts or access to strangers.
  • You're responsible for the names, contact details and amounts you enter.

If you're a payee

Paying your share is always free. You can decline or report a bill you don't recognise, question a charge, leave a bill, and download or delete your data — see the privacy notice.

Fair use

Don't use Kongsi to spam, harass, mislead or defraud anyone, or to break the law. If an account is misused — or reported and we find a problem — we may stop it organizing bills, block sign-in, or remove it. We'll tell you why where we can.

Plans and changes

Organizing is free during the PaKSI pilot. If paid plans are introduced, the price is shown in Settings before anything is charged, and paying a bill stays free. We may change or improve Kongsi, and update these terms — the date above shows the latest version; for a significant change we'll let you know in the app.

No guarantees

Kongsi is provided as it is, during a pilot. We work to keep it accurate, available and secure, but we can't promise it will always be error-free. Check important figures against your own records. To the extent Malaysian law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using Kongsi, including what someone does or doesn't pay.
